As most of you know, I’m definitely a bargain hunter whenever it comes to buying clothes. Usually if it isn’t $10 or less I have a hard time spending the money on it. However there are rare occasions whenever I decide to “splurge” on an item I just can’t leave the store without. For this Fashion FridayI wanted to show you guys these adorable bell bottom type jeans that I bought from the store Free People. I had been looking for a pair for quite some time but none of the ones I found were the type I was wanting. They were either printed, low rise or too short for me. I just wanted a basic denim kind that was high waisted with enough length. Because I’m tall it makes it extremely difficult to find a good pair of pants that are actually long enough. Any other tall girls struggle with this? It’s so annoying!

As of a month ago I didn’t even know Free People existed to be honest. My aunt was the one who introduced me. She was out shopping one day when she came across these pants and actually sent a picture of them to my mom. She was surprised at how they were back in style so many years later. My mom ended up buying us both a pair for something show related but I didn’t splurge out on it just yet. I was nervous about the fit of them so I decided to wait. But once I tried them on I was obsessed! So obsessed that I bought myself a pair for home. Here’s where the splurging comes in.. the pants cost $78 and then with tax it came to $81.30. Yikes. Not a fan of the price but like I said they were too cute not to get.

The fit is perfect and insanely comfortable. I could seriously sleep in these if I wanted to. The material has a jegging like feel to it which I absolutely love. The stretchier the better in my opinion. Stiff jeans drive me crazy! It still blows my mind that I’m just now discovering Free People. Now that I have a pair of their jeans, I’m curious as to what other amazing clothes they have. They may be a bit pricey but their product quality is high. It’s obvious that these specific pants were made to last which I appreciate. Some companies have such high dollar products with such poor quality which is not only sad but deceiving too. If I’m going to spend money on something it better be worth it, ya know? These pants.. DEFINITELY worth it. They are honestly my favorite piece of clothing I own at the moment!

I ordered these online and it took exactly a week to get to me which I didn’t think was too bad. I’m not about spending money on express shipping unless it’s absolutely needed. So for standard shipping, I was quite impressed. There has been items I’ve ordered in the past from other companies that have taken legit months to get to me so one week was actually a relief.

For those of you wondering, the name of the pants are called Just Float On Flare Jeans. They come in 11 different colors, 10 different sizes and in a regular or short fit. If you like the specific ones I bought, here are the details:

COLOR: Bermondsey Blue            SIZE: 26            FIT: Regular

What are some of the things you guys have splurged on?! Do you think my splurge was worth it? Let me know in the comments!
